Job no: 533976 Department: Extended Ed & International Ed Work type: Student Assistant Location: Stanislaus - Turlock Categories: Excluded Position Summary Multiple temporary hourly-intermittent Student Assistant positions with the American Language and Culture Programs to assist with the 2024 Winter International Software Camp, including the involvement of visiting international students.
This job requires eight hours of work on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 8:45am - 5:15pm.
Lunch will be provided.
Start Date Position available January 16, 2024.
Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.
Job Description/Duties Duties include but are not limited to: Assist with mentoring the camp participants.
Assist with helping the camp participants for their poster presentation at the end of the day.
Assist with helping the camp participants work on their assigned project.
Assist with organizing camp materials on the site.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrates strong interpersonal communication skills.
Possesses a willingness to understand and work through communication barriers with people from other cultures and possibly with limited English.
Required Qualifications: Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.
Special Conditions CSU requires faculty, staff, and students who are accessing campus facilities to be immunized against COVID-19 or declare a medical or religious exemption from doing so.
Any candidates advanced in a currently open search process should be prepared to comply with this requirement.
Salary Range $16.

The ASR contains the current security and safety-related policy statements, emergency preparedness and evacuation information, crime prevention and sexual assault prevention information, and drug and alcohol prevention programming.
The ASR also contains statistics of Clery Act crimes for Stanislaus State for the previous three years.
