About Us: Southside Community Connections (SCC) is a nonprofit organization located in Groveland, California that serves seniors, individuals with disabilities, low-income, and the entire community.
We refer to our community as "on the hill" because we are isolated from services in larger nearby communities by a road that ascends almost 1000 feet.
The Little House is a program of SCC dedicated to providing a vibrant and healthy community center for adults.
We are looking for passionate class instructors to join our team and help us promote physical well-being among our community members.

*Quilting, Knitting, Crochet, Painting/Art, Exercise, Gardening, Personal Finance, Computer Training, and more!*
Job Description: We are seeking experienced instructors to conduct engaging and beneficial classes for seniors, individuals with disabilities, and all adult participants considered "on the hill".
Our organization offers both in-person and Zoom classes, giving you the opportunity to connect with seniors either on-site or remotely.
We prefer on-site, but we understand the trek to Groveland can be rigorous.

Responsibilities:
* Create and lead classes that cater to our senior audience and individuals with disabilities.
* Conduct classes in accordance with our guidelines, maintaining a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
* Teach one or more classes per week, with the potential for additional sessions.
* Ensure that all class materials for Zoom sessions are new and refreshing to keep participants engaged.
* Collaborate with The Little House Supervisor and report any issues or concerns promptly.
* Undergo a background check as part of our hiring process.
Requirements:
* Previous experience teaching classes, especially to seniors, is a plus.
* Must be a California resident; we do not accept out-of-state or out-of-country applicants.
* Ability to lead classes either in-person or Zoom formats.
* Willingness to conduct classes on-site at The Little House or remotely via Zoom.
* Must not charge fees, or donations for classes; all proceeds will go to The Little House.
* Ability to adapt classes to cater to our senior demographic.
* If specialized equipment is required for your class, you must provide it or make arrangements to bring it.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $20.
