*Overview:*
I Heart Mac & Cheese is a fast-casual concept restaurant focused on great quality food and guest satisfaction.
In this fast pace atmosphere; teamwork is essential in production and over-all operations of the restaurant.
This concept provides guests with enhanced comfort food favorites in a family-oriented atmosphere.
*Objective/Purpose:*
An IHMAC Shift Lead is responsible but not limited to for overseeing shifts including upholding customer service standards, managing staff, completing prep, and opening and closing the store, as needed.
He/She provides exemplary restaurant service and facilitates the successful achievement of organizational goals for the shift.
• Strong knowledge of the menu, skill to prepare all menu items, ability to walk the guest throughout the ordering process and upsell add-on items ensuring each guest leaves happy and excited to return.
• Ability to perform all positions of the restaurant including, but not limited to, cashier, expo, line building, dishwasher, and preparation of food items
• Attention to detail and cleanliness of the restaurant will be essential in daily operation.
*Principal Role and Responsibilities:*
IHMAC Shift Lead will oversee team members on shift to uphold corporate policies and standards of excellence.
• Manages operational aspects of the shift.
• Has a passion for training and customer service.
• Ensures company operations' facilities, safety equipment and assets are maintained in accordance with company and governmental standards.
• Plans, executes, and monitors all prep and cleaning projects.
• Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
• Completes other duties and special projects as needed.
• Oversees management responsibilities in the absence of manager or owner.
Job Type: Part-time
