*UNITED EQUIPMENT COMPANY is looking for a full-time *Mechanic *for our *Turlock, CA *facility.

*We are looking for a qualified Mechanic to maintain and repair our heavy equipment fleet.
You will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Your work will contribute to increased productivity, quality and safety of products.
Our fleet consists of mainly Late model low hour Caterpillar, dozers, wheel loaders, excavators, compactors, skid steers, etc.
In addition, we have a few John Deere and Hyundai machines.

*Requirements:*
* High school diploma or equivalent, Certification from a vocational school is a plus.
* Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
* At least 3 years experience working on Heavy Equipment not Diesel Trucks
* Ability to work in team environment.
* Ability to work in non-standard conditions.
* Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical systems.
* Basic computer skills.
* Good communication skills and self motivated
* Physical ability to do the work required, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
*Responsibilities:*
* *Responsible to Maintain our Late Model Rental/Sales fleet of Heavy Equipment consisting Mainly of Caterpillar Dozers, Excavators, Wheel Loaders, Graders, Skid steers, Vibratory Rollers etc.
We also own some Deere and Hyundai machines.

* *Job duties will consist of Field and Shop Work /PM Maintenance as well as troubleshooting and repairing our fleet.

* *Advanced knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, emissions systems and powertrain systems preferred*
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $37.
00 - $42.
00 per hour
