EVS Shift Supervisor
Position Summary
As a Team Member of the EVS team, the EVS Shift Supervisor is a CRCR Ambassador and takes personal ownership to ensure all of their actions are in the best interest of the business.
EVS Shift Supervisor performs a wide variety of skilled and unskilled tasks in the custodial care and maintenance of the CRCR while maintaining the workflow of the EVS team.
Position Functions
Essential Functions
• Provide exceptional Guest service while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Support and motivate Team Members while ensuring team responsibilities are being performed according to established departmental standards.
• Inspect designated CRCR and Team Member areas to ensure cleanliness.
• Manage inventory and order all required cleaning supplies and equipment for use by the EVS team.
• Adhere to Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and safety regulations, updating the manual as necessary.
• Lead by example and handle any issues while keeping the EVS Manager informed of Team Member and/or Guest-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
• Conduct inspections in designated areas and log results, investigate issues regarding EVS service and equipment.
• Collaborate with EVS Manager to ensure the team consistently provides efficient and exceptional service.
• Report and organize weekly/monthly inventory stock.
• Participate in addressing/identifying areas for process improvement.
• Report safety issues and inventory replenishments to management.
• Assist with “hands-on” duties such as moving furniture, hanging equipment, and small building repairs.
• Maintain organization of shared work areas and complete assigned duties in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and equipment, and lock and tag out.
• Daily CRCR EVS work.
• Inspect and maintain assigned EVS equipment and small tools for proper operating conditions.
• Identify and problem-solve issues in mechanical equipment while utilizing sound judgment for EVS repairs.
• Use heavy cleaning equipment.
• Assist Engineering with tasks as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Develop and adjust schedules to align with business requirements.
• Assists with employment terminations exclusively under the guidance and oversight of department management.

Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate).
• 2+ years of cleaning experience.
• Familiarity with industry-approved protocols for securing and isolating spaces during cleanup or maintenance activities.
• Familiarity with training Team Members.
• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred qualifications:
• Knowledge of building, maintenance, and heavy cleaning equipment.
• 1+ years in a Lead or Supervisory role.
