We are seeking a beef cattle and almond ranch manager near Oakdale / Modesto.
Experience:
Must have experience with beef cattle husbandry, operating heavy equipment, and towing a trailer.
Must also have a valid driver’s license with a clean record (Class A is a plus) and be over 25.
Must speak English, be a self-motivated team player and detail oriented.
Duties:
Beef cattle care and management including feeding, administering shots, record keeping, etc.
Operation of equipment including loaders, mixers, and tractors.
Picking up, delivering, and mixing cattle feed.
Equipment maintenance and repair including picking up parts, light mechanic work, etc.
Marketing cattle for sale, scheduling, meeting with cattle buyers, selling, sorting, and loading cattle.
Picking up and delivering cattle in company truck and trailer.
Have a Class A CDL or obtain one within 6 months from hire date.
Orchard mowing, disking, spraying, irrigating, and management.
Ranch maintenance including fence building and repair, water trough maintenance, weed management, pasture fertilizing, flood irrigating including repair and maintenance.
Tree planting, trimming and removal.
Landscape maintenance, repair, and installation.
Compensation:
Depending on experience.
