Newport Pacific Capital, a recognized leader in manufactured housing, RV resort, and apartment community management has an employment opportunity for an experienced Onsite Community Manager at a multi-unit apartment community and mini storage facility in Sonora, CA.
Under the supervision of a Regional Manager, the Onsite Manager is responsible for the uniform enforcement of rules and regulations while maintaining good Community relations and ensuring compliance with the law.
Day-to-day tasks may include, but are not limited to:
Ensure a clean, safe, and code-compliant environment.
Uphold and value every resident’s right to peaceful enjoyment of their home and the community.
Achieve the goals set by the Regional Manager for leasing, management, finance, and administration.
Increase market rents and occupancy rates by using effective strategies for leasing, marketing, and management.
Lead, manage, and train the staff assigned to the community and foster a strong team culture.
Make and implement operational decisions that meet the objectives of occupancy, revenue, and tenant satisfaction.
Keep up to date with the market conditions and trends.
Show initiative, self-awareness, professionalism, integrity, independent judgement, and confidentiality in all aspects of performance.
Ensure client satisfaction and retention through excellent service and communication.
Coordinate and oversee the work of vendors, consultants, and other contractors providing services.
Effectively respond to urgent/emergency situations that occur outside of normal business hours.
Other unspecified reasonable tasks as assigned to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the community.
Desired skills & experience:
Five years' experience in apartment community management.
Ability to manage budgets, sales, and marketing operations.
Skilled in MS Office and other computer applications (familiarity with Rent Manager software a plus).
Possession and maintenance of a valid driver’s license.
Compensation:
$23-$27 per hour DOE with housing and a comprehensive benefits package after successful completion of an introductory period.
