*Maintenance Mechanic / Treatment Plant Operator*
The Pinecrest Permittees home owners Association has a full-time permanent position for a wastewater treatment plant operator / collections utility worker available to join our team.
The PPA operates a cooperative fire station in conjunction Tuolumne County Fire Department.
Candidates are encouraged to participate Tuolumne County Fire Department volunteer firefighting program in the Pinecrest area.
*Job Duties:*
The PPA operates a small RBC plant (.
17MGD) in conjunction with a compressive collection system involving multiple pumping stations and a gravity feed sanitary sewer.
This system provides service for 374 seasonal residences, 5 summer recreational camps, 2 recreational lodging facilities, 3 public campground locations, public day use/picnic area and RV dump station.
Service maintain plant operations, pumps, motors, chemical feed pumps, electrical control panels, pond vegetation management,sewer collection system hydro jetting and inspection.
Additional duties can include operation and maintenance of the water treatment plant and water distribution system, snowplowing, road maintenance, collection of household home-owner garbage on selected collection days and fuels reduction and wildfire mitigation.
*Qualifications;*
Valid driver’s license with clean driving history, high school diploma/GED.
Wastewater OIT-I obtained within 3 months or Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator certificate at time of hire.
Prior experience in wastewater collections, water treatment and distribution desirable.
Knowledge and experience in construction, welding and electrical systems is a plus.

Pay scale ranges from $18.
00 per hour to $32.
00 per hour dependent upon state certifications.
