The Blue Mountain Plant Electrician will be part of the Electrical Department team and report to the Electrical Department Manager, providing electrical support throughout the Columbia mine site.
The site includes production facilities and warehouse and office operations.
What You’ll Do
* Maintain, diagnose, trouble shoot, repair, and install electrical equipment and systems at a Blue Mountain Minerals facility utilizing technical, interpersonal and critical thinking skills
* Work as a team with the entire Maintenance department, the Electrical Technician performs general maintenance duties, preventive maintenance, trouble calls, and emergency maintenance as needed and assigned
* Work on projects throughout the entire facility running conduit, pulling wire and connecting devices, using lifts and ladders
* Perform equipment repairs and similar duties, often independently with no oversight or direction
* Interpret and use complex electrical schematics, blueprints, and building plans to troubleshoot and correct problems
* Display positive attitude and practice good work ethics that reflects the mission, philosophy and goals of the company.
* Complete tasks in timely manner and provide feedback
What You’ll Bring
* Minimum of 2 years related work experience as an Industrial or Commercial Electrician.
* Allen Bradley PLC experience preferred.
* Knowledge of N.

F.
P.
A 70B and E preferred.
* Knowledge in using hand tools, electrical meter and testing equipment preferred
* Efficient in sizing conductors, conduits and use of NEC Code Book preferred
* Experienced in handling low to high voltage up to 480 VAC preferred
* Ability to interpret electrical prints and schematics preferred
* Ability to install electrical equipment and circuit modification preferred
* Knowledge and ability to identify electrical hazards and proper safety procedures preferred
* Ability to work in high elevation up to 80 ft.
