Job Summary
Perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures.
Maintain housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following SSIs policies and procedures.
Essential Job Functions
Responsible for overall operating and maintaining of a production line, including monitoring, basic maintenance, change over, starting and stopping of equipment.
This may include but is not limited to (depalletizer, case erector, fillers, conveyors, accumulation tables, coders, labelers, case packers, palletizers, stretch wrap applicator, and associated equipment).
Confirm correct container, case and labels are accurate and in good condition.
Coordinate container and shipper deliveries and damage returns.
Responsible for neatly and accurately completing and updating information forms and logs such as Machine Report, Quality Report, Downtime Reporting.
Basic mathematical computational skills required of an operator such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Ability to work in all assigned areas of production; troubleshoot minor production line issues; perform relief duties when required.
Clean and sanitize equipment per sanitation schedule.
Performing CIP, COP duties as well as maintain master sanitation schedules.
Perform general housekeeping duties and Master Sanitation Schedule tasks as necessary
Inspects assigned jack and reach lifts for safety issues
Operates pallet jack/reach lifts in a safe and efficient manner
Shrink wraps and labels with correct required information
Able to work in a team environment
Ability to effectively communicate with and train fellow team members
These positions will cross-train on other jobs to enable a cross functional coverage environment

Competencies
Interact with Production Supervisors, and other production personnel as required.
3 years Minimum in production/inventory control
Performing production reporting, calculations, and database control.
Working knowledge of dairy process operations, materials and ingredients

Work Environment
They must be able to work in a manufacturing factory & various inside and outside locations with varying temperatures and floor surfaces.
Physical Demands
Must have the ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time, climb stairs, and walk as needed on the manufacturing floor and warehouse.
Must wear personal protective equipment as defined/required by job assignments.
