Sterling Crane is looking for a Senior Crane & Rigging Supervisor at our branch in Vancouver, BC.
This is an hourly position reporting to the Branch Manager.
This position will work closely with our key customers and the operation’s team in Vancouver and Victoria, focusing on the safe execution of our day-to-day crane business.
SENIOR CRANE & RIGGING SUPERVISOR
Vancouver, BC
Sterling Crane is looking for a Senior Crane & Rigging Supervisor at our branch in Vancouver, BC.
This is an hourly position reporting to the Branch Manager.
This position will work closely with our key customers and the operation’s team in Vancouver and Victoria, focusing on the safe execution of our day-to-day crane business.
Responsibilities:
Scaling, sizing and bidding jobs
Supporting supervisors and dispatch
Review and approval of customer work methods
On-site lift supervision
Sales contacts with customers
Other responsibilities as required/agreed
Qualifications & Skills:
Post-secondary education or trade certification is preferred
Candidate should have 10+ years of supervision experience in a related industry.
Candidate with previous experience in the construction market and/or crane industry will be given priority.
Candidate with previous experience with cranes utilized in the wind farm and/or heavy lift market will be given priority.
Class 1 and Class 5 Drivers License
Proven record of building relationships with customers and excellent communication skills
Self-starter able to work on their own, as well as in a team environment
IMPORTANT:
Preference would be for local resident or must be willing to relocate.
Position requires travel (up to 25%)
As a safety sensitive position, it is a condition of employment that candidates successfully pass pre-employment testing that may include Alcohol & Drug screening.
