As an intern at our Hilmar, CA site, you’ll be exposed to real life business situations and will work on projects alongside our employees.

Position Responsibilities
Improvement of a specific process, product line, or function within one or more of the cheese or whey plants
Identification of opportunities to reduce the cost of production for a specific product or production line
Identification of the causes of waste within one or more manufacturing processes and recommendations for actions to eliminate the waste
Development of standard work processes to implement and sustain identified improvement opportunities
Minimum Requirements
Completion of Sophomore year at a college or university and working towards a degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Biology, or Chemistry
Basic knowledge of MS Office products: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
Strong applied technical skills and analytical problem-solving skills
Good oral and written communication skills
Reliable transportation to and from work
Physical Demands & Work Environment
The role has frequent occasions that require prolonged walking or standing, lifting/ carrying/handling moderate weight objects on a regular basis.
Is required to wear PPE and have a regular presence in manufacturing and warehouse environments in both temperature controlled and uncontrolled locations.
Must frequently interact with people verbally.
